It’s been frustrating. The app keeps crashing during my sessions, which is really annoying when I’m trying to get something done. I also had to chase them up about the issue instead of getting any clear help right away, which just made the whole experience more irritating.

I tried using these plugins for my sessions, but they made everything lag bad. It got annoying fast and kinda messed with my workflow. Not really what I was hoping for

The prices felt kind of unfair to me. Like, there were just too many sales tricks and games going on, and yeah, that’s not really my thing

I’ve used a few Softube plugins and, when they’re working properly, they do sound nice. The tone is solid and they can add a good bit of character without much fuss, so I do get why people like them.

That said, I’ve run into more random DAW crashes than I’d like, and a couple of updates seemed to cause more issues than they fixed. The license and activation side has also been a bit annoying, with the plugin sometimes not showing up or asking me to log in again at the worst time. For what they cost, I just expected them to feel a little more reliable.

I found the UI confusing, at least for the way I like to navigate things. Maybe I’m just used to cleaner layouts, but it wasn’t immediately clear where to go or what some of the options were supposed to do. It took more trial and error than I expected

I tried to install it twice and it just kept failing. There were so many steps, then the login stuff, and when something went wrong there wasn’t even a clear error message. I don’t know, it just felt way more complicated than it needed to be.....

Bought the plugin and was excited to try it, but iLok kept giving me problems the whole time. Ended up wasting my evening trying to get it working and I still can’t even use it, lol. Frustrating experience, honestly. I don’t think I’d buy it again.

I had to log in again, the installer dragged, and then one of my plugins just didn’t show up afterward. I ended up spending about an hour just trying to get back to where I already was. It kind of had that “they made it my problem” feeling, which is the last thing you want when you’re just trying to sit down and make music...

I bought a Softube plugin at the regular price, and then just a few days later it dropped a lot in a sale. I get that discounts happen, and if it had been weeks later I probably wouldn’t have cared as much, but the timing made it feel bad. There was no heads-up, no price adjustment, and support only gave me a generic response. The plugin itself is fine, but based on this experience I’d probably wait for a big sale next time instead of buying direct at full price

The sounds are really good, and I do like what the plugin can do. But setting it up in my DAW kind of slows down my workflow more than I expected. Once it’s going, it’s nice… I just wish getting there felt a bit smoother.

I don’t know, maybe it’s just my setup or my taste, but these plugins sounded kind of thin and harsh to me. I really wanted to like them, but after trying them out for a while, I just didn’t feel like they were worth the money.

I thought checking out the upgrade options would be simple, but it ended up stressing me out more than I expected. The choices were confusing, and once I finally figured out what was what, the prices felt way too high for me. Not really the smooth experience I was hoping for

I tried using this with my older Mac and couldn’t get any support for it, which was frustrating. Maybe it’s fine for newer computers, but based on my experience, it seems like older Mac users might run into the same issue.

I feel like I overpaid for this. I bought one plugin because it was made out to be this big upgrade, but once I actually used it, it didn’t really match what was promised. The sound is okay, not terrible, but for the price I was expecting a lot more. What made it even more frustrating was seeing paid upgrades and sales pop up right after I bought it. Just left a bad taste. I don’t think I’ll be buying from them again.

I kept bouncing around menus and install steps, trying to figure out what I was supposed to click next, and it just felt a bit messy. Maybe it’s easier once you’ve done it before, but for me it took way too long just to get everything set up and start using it

I bought this synth plugin mostly because, you know, the demos sounded really good. But once I actually started using it, the presets were kind of hit or miss. There are definitely a few nice ones in there, but a lot of them just feel, like, thin or almost like filler. I get that you can tweak things and make your own sounds, but for the price, I expected better starting points. It’s not awful or anything, just a bit disappointing, and it ended up slowing me down more than helping

I asked for a refund and it felt like I was just being ignored. The replies were super slow, and I kept having to chase them for updates, which got old fast. Like, I’m the customer asking for help, but I had to do all the follow-up? Make it make sense. Definitely not what I expected, and I won’t be buying through them again.

I do like some of the Softube plugins, they sound nice. But for the price, I was expecting a bit more in terms of features and depth. A few of the tools feel almost too simple, like there just isnt much room to tweak or dig in compared to other plugins I use. It’s not bad at all, just a little frustrating when you want more control. The interface looks clean, but it feels like some stuff is missing.

The download manager has been annoying to deal with. It’s slow, keeps asking me to log in over and over, and then the updates just fail without really saying why. I ended up giving up and trying again later, which is the last thing I wanted to do. I don’t know, maybe it was having a bad day or something, but it really didn’t leave a good impression...
